Diary vs news blog articles. Which one is the winner?

Have you ever heard of successful bloggers who rely on only diary as the main topics for their blogs? Many people doubt the blog that uses diary as the niche and think it will not drive any readers and, worse, not deserve any money. Wrong. I meet some bloggers, mostly Adsense publisher, who earn thousands of dollars only from diary blog. Yes, in some cases, people tend to prefer news blogs because they follow the trend and can attract readers instantly; it covers current issues. But trust me, these issues can easily be out of date. You need more better posts, permanent content, good articles that don't fade after the gossips expire. So who wins?

The answer is diary. Why is writing diary better than managing news blog. Simple answer: because with diary, you can be very productive. While blogging with news as your niche requires a lot of readings and research, diary blogs don't request any of that strategy. Another advantage of making your blog as your dary is you can get rid of the self censorship. In blogging, it's common to sensor what you write as you go. This prevents you from producing writing with flow, content and message that can be interesting to read. Stop editing your Blogger or WordPress blog posts to be more productive in blogging and start write anything that is in your head without censoring them.
