Having mpek-mpek for dinner, a traditional food in Indonesia

It's my second time eating mpek-mpek, a traditional food in Indonesia made of fish and baking tapioca powder and eaten with delicious sauce. Surry offered to have either pizza or mpek-mpek after we watched 12 Years a Slave today. Since pizza is expensive, I said mpek-mpek.

It costs $2 for two plates. I didn't think that the portion would be enough for me, a man with big belly and appetite. I had boiled egg inside the mpek-mpek, and the sauce is hot and sweet. Sury said the sauce was made of acid and plam sugar.

I am home, feeling full with the satisfaction and as usual, I start writing this blog post, a routine that's like praying and brushing teeth for me.
