Writing 1000 blog posts as 2015 resolution is too easy for pro bloggers

In 2010, when I was an active blogger who wrote all my content in English, I made a new year resolution for 2011: writing 1000 blog posts. It seems easy now but at that time, with no laptop nor PC and only relying on Nokia phone, I couldn't complete the challenge--which is very embarrassing. You know, for me at that time, writing was hard not only because I have writer's block often but also because I have difficulties with English, which is not my native language.

Today after reading an update by a blogger and after posting an article titled Cheap flight tickets from Jakarta to Makassar, Indonesia, I came to realize that I once made the resolution of 1000 blog posts in 2014. None of my blogs reached that number despite the age being five years. So starting from three days ago, I have diligently written ten articles per day. I have to commit to this number so in only three months, which means in March 2015, I will have reached the quantity suggested by bloggers as ideal content.

You cannot have a blog and write only 20 articles and hope to have thousands of unique visitors per day. No, that's bullshit. When you can't win with the quality, then you must win with the quantity. I watched a Youtube video this morning, showing an Indian who writes 20 posts per day. He gets thousands of visitors per day and thousands of dollars every month.

At first, writing 20 posts or 10 articles sounds hard. You have to try it. After five or six days, you'll get used to it. You don't have to write difficult subjects. Just write about yourself, about your daily activities, about your love relationship with your boyfriend or girlfriend. It is okay that you don't know about SEO. You know about writing huge number articles and you have the skill of writing fast and concisely. So do it.
