How to enjoy your day without TV at home and be happy

For more than five months now, I spend most of my days in Jakarta without TV. How do I enjoy my days without TV at home? Let me tell you that I used to be a TV addict. In Blimbing, my home village, I watch TV every day and stay at night to see movies on TRANS or on RCTI. In Jakarta, I spend my days with ASUS laptop.

If you ask me what to choose between TV or the Internet, I have to say the Internet. I can live without TV but I can imagine how go through my days without opening my blogs, news websites, and Facebook profile. Also read: How to make much money with your bad English from the Internet.

As for movies, I download a lot from the internet and watch them in the morning with Caca or Samsurya. Caca's favorite movies are Free Bird, Lego Movie, and The Guardians of Galaxy. Sury loves horror films, so I download Annabelle, Jessabelle and As Above So Below.

What can I do with the laptop? I browse the web, paint digitally in OpenCanvas and edit photos using Adobe Photoshop. Also read: Editing photos taken from mobile phone in Photoshop like a pro.

With TV you become passive; with laptop or the Internet you become active and more involved because it is you yourself who search and obtain information or entertainment. Facebook and Instagram, for example, are two social networks that ask your part in order that the service works properly. You post text and upload photos in those services.
