Editing photos taken from mobile phone in Photoshop like a pro

If you're just like me who don't have SLR camera, then your mobile phone serves as communication device as well as powerful photography weapon. I use my phone all the time using to take pictures insects, people and sceneries, then I edit them in Adobe Photoshop. My Android phone, Cross A7#, has a resolution of 8 mega pixel, not really good because it is a Chinese phone--the result is no different from 3 or even 1 mega-pixel camera.
You don't need to be very smart to do this editing nor do you need to be an artist. In fact, retouching photos using Photoshop is as easy as frying noodles or taking photographs itself. What you need to have is, of course, Adobe Photoshop softwares. You can use Photoshop 7 or CS. Any version doesn't matter.

Here in the shot is a photograph of my girlfriend Sury which she herself took it using her Nokia C2 four years ago in Jakarta. Also read: How to deal with rainy season in Jakarta, Indonesia's capital city.

Besides Curve, you can also apply Levels and Brightness Contrast under the same Adjustments menu. My favorite tip is adding a new Adjustment Layer. It helps me modify blending mode and opacity.
