Leaning English for Indonesian - Grammar VS vocabulary

I have to ask you a question: Which one is more important for you as Indonesians who are learning English as the second language, is it grammar or vocabulary? In my experience with learning English, I leaned the grammar at first, then vocabulary. I remembrance I understood simple past tense but didn't know the word cupboard. Embarrassing.

In just a couple of months when I made up my mind to memorize the words in id-en dictionary, my vocabulary improves. But still my love for grammar was profound. I read many magazines and newspaper and movies or television shows in English such as Oprah and Metro This Morning on Metro TV. I learned a lot by watching that show.

Then when I went to university, I started to get to know to the Internet. It has the biggest impact in my life. With the Internet, I can find any information I want. I can learn new things every day by reading articles or watch video tutorials on YouTube. I can also have more friends by chatting and emailing them via Yahoo and Gmail account. Also read Raining so heavily outside my house in Jakarta and I am scared of floods.

Most importantly, from the Internet, I can make a blog and write it in English, the language that I used to learn intensively.
