Withdrawing money from PayPal using local bank account in Indonesia

For the first time, I will withdraw my money on an unverified PayPal account. I never knew that PayPal allows withdrawal from an unverified account, despite being limited to $10.000 per month. Frankly, I have never verified my account since the first time I signed up back in 2009.

So far, I thought I will never be able to get my money transferred to my bank account when my PayPal is not verified. A lot of ways have been done to verify the account but I failed. PayPal keeps asking for credit card if I want to verify it.

So yesterday, after I read a blog post by a blogger that says she successfully verified her account from sending personal email to the staff, I wrote a letter to them. Their reply: There is no other way of verifying except via the credit card. You may want to read reasons why my diet is not successful.

I didn't read that in the email, she also mentioned the amount of limits I can take from PayPal every month. Today, when I texted my friend Arvind on Facebook, I was surprised to hear from him that PayPal can send money to Indonesian bank account with maximum amount of $10.000 per month. That means, you cannot withdraw more than Rp100 millions.

To connect your PayPal to the local bank account in Indonesia, go to withdraw tab and click withdraw funds to your bank account link. You can see a link that says "Add a bank account." Click that link and fill in your personal data, including your name, your bank name, your bank code, and your bank account number. For the bank code, you can see the list here.

When you're done, click continue and you have connected your PayPal to you local bank account. You can withdraw money from PayPal up to Rp100 millions every month, If you want more than that, then verify the account using credit card. Remember, do not use Virtual Credit Card because it will make your account limited.
