Facebook messenger emoji on your android phone is now more colorful and will be available for download on Christmas

Every Christmas, in Indonesia, you find Muslims debating whether it is forbidden or not by religion to wish a Christian merry christmas. I don't care about that, and I myself always say Merry Christmas to respect our Christian brothers. It's just unfair when they wish you on Eid but you're quiet on Christmas. Recently, to celebrate Christmas, Facebook adds some funny emoji other new features to its messenger, either on iPhone or on Android.

I know that Indonesia ranks 10 for the fastest Internet connection among Asian countries, which means it takes forever to stream videos or to download movies from film Websites. But just for chatting on Wechat or Messenger, it will not be a problem.


Here is what Mashable says:

In addition to Stickered, the updated Messenger will include holiday features like "festive frames" for New Year's Eve selfies along with holiday-themed sticker packs and snow globe chat heads. (Chat heads are the circular icons that float in the Facebook app when a conversation is active.)

Some of the features don't seem to be fully implemented yet; at the time of writing, Stickered was not available for download on Google Play, but the news post stated the app would be available later on Friday. The updates are coming to iOS soon, too.
